Yes, I am With You
I remember a scene from a Hindi movie, “Lagan” wherein Bhuvan who had taken a challenge on behalf of the whole village, was sitting in the night thinking about the ways and strategies for the future. Everyone was against his decision. No one from his village was ready to accept the challenge thrown by the rulers to wipe off the taxes. The night was dark, the task was tough and he was absolutely alone. At that time, his fiancee came to meet him. She said: “I am here to convey you that I have full faith in you and I am with you”. She was there just to say “Yes, I am with you”.
I personally like that scene very much. But how did it make any impact? What was her role? Practically, she had nothing to do in that challenge directly. She did nothing but did everything. She was like a ray of hope to him in that dark night.
It gives us immense strength when someone says, “I am with you”. The moment, we come to know that someone believes in our thoughts, our belief in our belief system multiplies manifold and that may become a starting point of turning impossible into I M POSSIBLE. It’s a gesture of trust when someone believes in another person’s ability. It has a lifelong positive impact on one’s life besides providing moral support and to make even a small positive difference in someone’s life is indeed a great achievement.
So, it’s a time to recollect, those people in our life who have stood by us in our times of need and said firmly. “Yes, I am with You”. Such people are real gems and we should not miss any chance to express our gratitude by ways of our positive thoughts and deeds.
To conclude, let us ask ourselves, how many times we stood behind someone? How many times we were there in someone’s difficult phase or moment to say “Yes, I am with you”?
